Luxurious wellness houseboat - Captains Cabin

Our historic houseboat has recently been transformed into a luxurious, elegant and extremely fully furnished place in the heart of Amsterdam.

Located in one of the city's widest canals, close to the Centraal Station, the bustling city center with its many restaurants, shops, museums and parks within walking distance.

You will stay in a unique, tasteful suite with all comforts and a beautiful view of the canal.

The space

The Captains Cabin is located in the rear part of the ship. Where the skipper used to live with his family, we have created a comfortable suite with a living room, bedroom, toilet and shower/sauna. And don't forget the wheelhouse and the wide roof terrace: on top of the ship, they offer panoramic views of the canal and the nearby historic buildings.

Bedding and towels are included in your stay, as well as coffee and tea to enjoy together while you can enjoy the tranquility and gently advancing boats.

The ship is located at Kalkmarkt no. 16 in the historic center. Through an entrance gate and wide cadet stairs, you step on the ship to the door in the wheelhouse, which gives you access to the suite.

Our houseboat has multiple private areas. You’ll be staying in the beautiful suite shown in the photos, which is your private space during the stay. Other parts of the boat are not included.
