📅 Booking & Arrival

1. How can I book?

You can book directly through our website, by email, or through recognized platforms such as Booking.com, VRBO or Airbnb. After our confirmation, your reservation is final.

2. Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, there is a minimum stay of 1 night.

3. What are the check-in and check-out times?

• Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM (by appointment).

• Check-out: no later than 11:00 AM.

4. Do I need to show my ID?

Yes, according to Dutch law, all guests must be registered upon arrival. Don't forget your ID.

5. Can I cancel or change my reservation?

You can cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. After that, the full amount will be charged (unless otherwise agreed).


💳 Payment & Deposit

6. How can I pay?

You can pay in advance via bank transfer, online through the booking platform, or in cash/card upon arrival.

7. Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we require a €250 deposit. This will be refunded upon departure, provided there is no damage or loss.


🚪 During your stay

8. Are visitors allowed on board?

Only registered guests are allowed on the ship. Visitors are not permitted without permission.

9. Can I smoke on board?

No. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is prohibited throughout the entire property—including the deck and jetty.

10. Is the ship safe and stable?

Absolutely. Reussi is permanently moored and meets the safety standards for houseboats. The gangway can move slightly in waves, so please be careful.

11. What if there is a storm or strong wind?
In extreme weather, we take safety measures. We will inform you immediately of any changes or (temporary) evacuations.

12. Can I cook on board?

Yes, the kitchenette is equipped with basic amenities. Use electrical appliances sparingly, as shore power is limited.

13. How does the toilet work?

Use only the provided toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, sanitary towels, or other materials down the toilet—the system is tank-based and can become clogged.

14. Are pets allowed?

No.

15. Can I play music or throw parties?

No. Quiet is important—no loud music or partying, especially between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.


🚴 Location & Transportation

16. Where exactly is B&B Reussi located?

We are located on Kalkmarkt 16, Amsterdam within walking distance of the city center and public transportation. After booking, you will receive directions and a photo of the mooring.

17. Can I park nearby?

Street parking is limited and paid. We recommend P+R (e.g., Zeeburg or RAI) and taking the tram or bike to the B&B.

18. Is there room for bicycles?

Yes, you can securely lock your bike to the quay next to the ship (not on the deck).


🌿 About comfort and sustainability

19. What about water and electricity on board?

We use shore-based water and shore power. Please use water and energy sparingly.

20. How often is the room cleaned?

For short stays (1–3 nights): final cleaning.

For longer stays: interim cleaning and linen change upon request.

21. Do you have air conditioning or heating?

Yes, the ship is well-insulated and heated. Ventilation is sufficient in summer; use of electric cooling units is only permitted after consultation.

22. What should I do in case of emergency or malfunction?

In case of fire or accident: leave the ship via the gangway and call 112.

23. What happens in case of damage or loss?

Report it immediately. We will review it together—any costs will be deducted from the deposit.

24. Can I get an invoice or proof of payment?

Yes, of course. Please mention this when you make your reservation.

25. Why is the ship called "Reussi"?

Because it's a corruption of the French réussi ("successful")—exactly the feeling we want our guests to have!
